Control purchasing as per the requirements. Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power. Effective and proactive liaison with other departments as necessary to forecast plan to meet purchase requirements. Determine quantity and timeline adhering to delivery schedule. Perform cost and scenario analysis and benchmarking. Participate in the development of specifications for equipment products or substitute materials.
