Job Responsivities: · To observe and study SBJ design · To update the knowledge about previous styles and movements in fashion history. Also need to aware of current fashion events and developments · To see the produced concepts by the design team and build on that · To coordinate with the workers after getting sample approved. · To understand the store requirement and work on designs to keep the brands up market. · To understand work on entire SBJ womens MTO · To stay ahead in design field and also have the knowledge about previous styles and movements in fashion history. Also need to be aware of current fashion events and developments. · To produce concepts to meet the organization goal of leading in design field · Sketch rough and detailed drawings of apparel or accessories and write specifications such as colour sheet construction material types and accessory requirement · Examine sample garments on and off models then modify designs to achieve desired effects · Analysing trends in style fabric colours and shapes · Making sketches by hands or in the computer · Analysing trends in fabrics colours and shapes · Direct and coordinate workers involved in drawings and cutting patterns and constructing samples or finished garments · Identify target markets for designs looking at factors such as age gender and socioeconomic status · Provide sample garments to the management and arrange for showings of sample garments at window sales meetings of fashion shows · To do the styling at shoots and fashion shows Key Result Areas: against which your performance appraisal will depend 1.
