Location: Noida, Uttar Pradesh
CTC Offered: Standard Hike on current CTC
Qualification: Undergrad(B.Tech/BE) or Post grad(MBA, M.Tech, MS) in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent preferred from reputed institute
Responsibilities:
A. Define Product Vision and Road map
- Solicits ideas for new features/modules/tools on the platform and collects information, analyses and helps in evaluating the same
- Identify market opportunities, define product vision & strategy and decides how to mobilize the resources necessary to produce new and improved product
- Understand customer needs, gather product requirements and prioritizes features by ranking them against the strategic goals and initiatives
- Coordinate new development features with marketing and work immediately on customer feedback from the support team
B. Manage Product Life cycle
- Manage entire product life cycle and propose changes as a result of competitive changes in the marketplace, come up with newer features and services
- Based on product performance, determines when actions are needed to upgrade, improve, revise or re position features/product
- Develops appropriate plans, marshals resources, and executes required changes
- Manages required usability testing, beta testing, or test marketing programs, assess the results and takes appropriate corrective action
- Create and maintain required documents, provide regular update on product progression, releases and operational activities
C. Project Management
- Works effectively with the project manager, plan what the teams will deliver and the timeline for implementation, provide guidance, and monitor the project results
- Engage closely with the development team to help determine the best technical implementation methods as well as their schedules
- Assist other members of the team to ensure all work is done in a timely and accurate manner
Desired Skill set and Experience
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in an online start-up with a record of substantial achievements in the specific role
- Solid technical background, with understanding of MySQL, MVC Frameworks, Java script, HTML 5, CSS3 and XML or hands-on experience in software development
- Track record of using qualitative and quantitative data to prioritize and drive decision-making
- Outstanding problem-solving skills and an analytical bend of mind
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
